Want to impress friends with your knowledge of premium sake? Join the Freer Sackler Gallery of Art and the Embassy of Japan for a film screening and tasting of Japan’s most prestigious sake brands. We’ll start the evening with the award-winning documentary Kampai! For the Love of Sake, which chronicles the beverage’s production from Japan’s rice paddies to breweries around the world. Kosuke Kuji, the fifth-generation Kuramoto president of Nanbu Bijin Brewery, will be on hand to answer questions about the world of sake. Plus, enhance your tasting experience with tips from two world-renowned Sake Samurai experts.
