We hope you’re getting as excited as we are for an amazing weekend of sake in Los Angeles. Your support helps make this event a success, so we want to make sure you take full advantage of everything your ticket offers!
As we finalize food, seating, staffing, and all the other details that make the weekend run smoothly, we need one quick favor: please let us know which VIP events you plan to attend.
Industry Day Seminars
Friday, September 4 | 10 am–6 pm | Sawtelle Sake Production Facility
Before the festival begins, experts from across the sake industry—rice growers, brewers, equipment manufacturers, researchers, distributors, and educators—will gather for a full day of behind-the-scenes talks and industry conversation.
Each year, the ACSF seminar program pushes the conversation a little further, and this year’s program is set to continue that tradition. Planned topics include the role of enzymes in sake brewing, a roadmap toward a North American sake yeast, collaborations that bring sake to new audiences, and a first-of-its-kind sake fermentation pilot lab. Lunch will be provided.
VIP Dinner at A Tí
Friday, September 4 | 8 pm | A Tí – Echo Park
We’ve reserved a limited number of seats for our group but guest count will be capped. Chef Andrew will feature special off-menu items made with koji, amazake, and kasu and will be available to talk with our group. Guests can order from the menu and will be responsible for their own food and drink tabs. Seating will be filled in the order RSVPs are received – Due to limited seating, please respond by 8/24.
Craft Sake Fest Pre-party Hosted by Sake High!
Friday, September 4 | 8-11:45 pm | Hermanito Santa Monica
Come start the Fest weekend off right with Sake High!, premium sake brewed with love in Japan, and Hermanito, Japanese refinement with Mexican heart. This event is also open to General Admission ticket holders, and RSVP is required via the Partiful event page.

Festival Early Access
Saturday, September 5 | 3–4 pm | LUMEN West LA
Get into Sake Fest an hour early for a VIP-only preview before doors open to general admission.
Join David Ono, ABC7 anchor and founder of festival co-host Story Boldly, for a special screening of his new documentary series, Secrets of Sake, followed by a meet-and-greet.
You’ll also have the chance to sample pre-release sake from festival co-host Sawtelle Sake with brewer Troy Nakamatsu as well as a guided tasting of the newest Fresh From Brewery namazake with Palate Project founder Genki Ito, alongside premium bites from festival co-host Yama Sushi Marketplace. Be sure to collect your VIP gift bag with specialty items, including the Ito En fan to go along with your Shohei Ohtani first home run commemorative Oi Ocha bottle.
